Today’s Harper-Trout lin … er, Nationals-Angels lineups

About 10 minutes before 3 p.m., Bryce Harper walked out of the Nationals dugout as several Angels pitchers were taking early batting practice at Nationals Park. A certain player with a crew cut and an oil-drum neck wandered behind the cage and embraced him. Harper and Mike Trout stood and chatted for the next 10 minutes or so, laughing and talking until they parted with another hug.

Every action and interaction from those two will surely be documented over the next three days, but there really are 48 other big league ballplayers involved. Here are today’s lineups, featuring Tanner Roark vs. Garrett Richards — the matchup everyone is coming to see, right?
