Blake Treinen is making his first major league start, a spot start, on Tuesday against the Dodgers. He’ll go against  two-time Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw, who is making his first start off the disabled list. Treinen has thrown only one inning in a week at Class AAA Syracuse. During an April stint with the Nationals as a long reliever, he allowed one run over 6 2/3 innings and struck out seven.

Scott Hairston makes his first start since coming off the disabled list with an oblique strain on Monday. Jose Lobaton is back in the lineup after getting hit in the shin with a fastball on Saturday.
