After getting the day off, Danny Espinosa is back in the starting lineup at second base. The rest of the Nationals lineup is standard, with Jose Lobaton catching Jordan Zimmermann. The Cardinals are one of only two National League teams Zimmermann has yet to defeat in his career. (He also has never beaten the Pirates.) He is 0-4 with a 7.03 ERA in seven starts against the Cardinals, his worst ERA against a team he has faced more than once.
