In the final game of a 10-game road trip, Doug Fister (5-1, 2.68 ERA) takes the mound for the Nationals, who look to avoid being swept for the third this season in a three-game series. (The Marlins took two games from the Nationals in late May; the third game was postponed because of rain.) Fister has been dominant since his first start of the season. He has a 1.83 ERA in 39 1/3 innings over his past six starts. The Nationals have won all six games. He will be opposed by left-handed starter Jaime Garcia (2-0, 4.26 ERA). The Nationals hit left-handers well, posting a .760 OPS against them this season, sixth best in the majors. The lineups are here. As always, discuss the game below.
