Wilson Ramos homers in first rehab game

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

In his first minor league rehab appearance, Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos went 1 for 3 with a three-run homer at Class AA Harrisburg. Ramos, recovering from a left hamstring strain he suffered last week in San Francisco, is expected to return to the Nationals on Thursday in Chicago.

“He felt good,” Nationals Manager Matt Williams said. “Three at-bats, felt fine, so he’ll go again. We’re not going to rush him, though. He can’t be back until the 26th. We’ll see where we’re at there.”
