Tanner Roark (7-4, 2.79 ERA) makes his first start at Wrigley Field, about 90 minutes from his hometown of Wilmington, Ill., Last year, only two weeks after his call-up, Roark pitched at Wrigley Field but as a reliever and nearly 100 friends and family filled the outfield bleachers and chanted his name. The same number of people are expected Friday afternoon to see Wilmington’s most famous resident. He will be opposed by sinkerballer Jason Hammel (6-5, 2.99 ERA). As always, discuss the game here.
