Nationals-Orioles discussion thread: Game 89

UPDATE, 8:10 p.m.: The rain has been steady and strong for some time but appears to easing up. A rainbow has appeared. No updates from the team.

UPDATE, 6:45 p.m.: The start of the game will be delayed because of approaching inclement weather, according to an announcement by the Nationals. There is no rain yet at Nationals Park.

The Nationals hope to move past Monday’s extra-inning defeat, their eighth in 10 extra-inning games this season. Doug Fister (7-2, 2.93 ERA) takes the mound for the Nationals. As a former AL pitcher, Fister has faced the Orioles often and has a 5.30 ERA and 3-2 record in six starts against them in his career. Right-hander Bud Norris (7-5, 3.62 ERA) returns from the disabled list to face the Nationals. The lineups are here. As always, talk about the game below.
