UPDATE, 12:55 p.m.: The Reds announced the game is expected to start at 1:25 p.m., so only a 15-minute delay. The forecast doesn’t look pretty, however, later in the afternoon.

UPDATE, 12:49 p.m.: The Reds announced that the game will not start on time. The tarp is still on the field and the rain comes and goes. We expect to be here a while.

Doug Fister (9-2, 2.92 ERA) makes his second start of the second half, this time on six days rest and not 12 like his previous start. Fister has never pitched at Great American Ball Park. He has faced the Reds before and allowed only two runs over seven innings. Fister is 6-0 with a 2.09 ERA with Jose Lobaton behind the plate. He will be opposed by Mat Latos (2-2, 3.15 ERA). The lineups are here. As always, talk about the game below.
