Breivik had no religious faith

Q. Calling himself an anti-Muslim ’crusader’ for ’Christendom,’ Anders Behring Breivik killed 76 people in Norway last week. Should Breivik be called a ‘Christian terrorist’?

A. Breivik is as much a “Christian” as Judas Iscariot and Breivik will be headed for the same destination. People can label someone any way they wish, but that doesn’t necessarily make it true. A closer look at his 1500 page “manifesto” reveals he had no religious beliefs at all, only a kind of “European cultural Christianity,” whatever that means.
