Capital City Mamas is a weeklong series of events, starting today, that cover topics such as nutrition, fitness and feature luncheon speakers. Most of the events are free or very low cost and can be accessed through an online signup.
Opportunities include One Hot Mama, a series of free fitness classes and speakers through Equinox Bethesda. There are also more serious topics, such as Tuesday night’s discussion with a social worker on how to keep your marriage happy while shifting from a couple to parents.
“We want to not just be known for the feel-good things. We want to be well-rounded and really try to reach out and do the topics that are are people’s minds,” Cichy said.
