FDA releases new guidelines for liquid medicine

The Food and Drug Administration asked drug manufacturers to provide clearly marked dispensing devices for liquid medication in guidelines released this week. Experts say mislabeled or missing measuring dispensers can cause babies and toddlers to get either too much or too little medicine. (CNN)

Mental health resources for kids in Virginia are insufficient, says a new report by an advocacy group. The Voices for Virginia's Children say many kids in Virginia who need these services end up incarcerated or in psychiatric facilities. (Associated Press via USA Today)
