KidsPost interview with author Jennifer Allison

From elsewhere in The Post: Jennifer Allison, author of the Gilda Joyce mystery series, spoke with KidsPost editor Tracy Grant about the most important lesson she’s learned from her career and why kids should write.

“Writing can make things happen. It can open doors. . . . It’s good for kids to know that being curious about different areas is a good thing for a writer,” says Allison.

Read the interview to find out how Allison makes Gilda’s character relatable, what it’s like to write dialogue for a 13-year-old girl and more.
