Take the kids this weekend: Mock election at Madame Tussauds

Sculpted clay-head molds of 2012 presidential candidates Mitt Romney and President Obama face off in a photo unveiled last month by Madame Tussauds in Washington. (Reuters)
Children might be too young to vote in the real election, but they are welcome to take part in Madame Tussauds’s kid-friendly election. In addition to voting, there will be themed activities in the Presidents Gallery, which features all 44 presidents. Results will be posted before the Nov. 6 election.

The “election” will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the museum, 10th and F streets NW. Admission is $10 for adults, free for children 12 and younger. For information call 888-929-4632 or visit the museum’s Web site.

Check out our Going Out Guide for more family-friendly activities.
