What Congress’ online sales tax bills could mean for small businesses: The Marketplace Fairness Act in the Senate, the Marketplace Equity Act in the House, and the Main Street Fairness Act in both chambers could create an online sales tax, leveling the playing-field for brick-and-mortar retail shops, according to Reuters.

Wal-Mart and American Express are offering a prepaid card:The two companies are using Bluebird, which acts like a checking account but without fees, and users will be able to deposit checks by taking a picture on their phones, according to the New York Times.
