Friday’s p-Op quiz: ‘Deficit’ edition

One leader gave a speech on the deficit, in which he finally embraced some of the recommendations of his deficit commission. But another leader who talked about the deficit last week thought the address had a deficit of kindness toward him. An old bull in the Republican Party complained about the deficit of compassion in his party, while another GOPer displayed his usual deficit of charm toward, well, just about anyone.

A lot more happened this week, but if you know what I’m getting at in the intro to this week’s p-Op quiz, you’re going to ace this thing. And that’s a factual statement.
