Romneycare at the Supreme Court

GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney just can't seem to catch a break — even at the Supreme Court.

On Tuesday, the justices grilled Obama administration lawyer Donald Verrilli Jr. about the constitutionality of the president's signature health-care program. One of the questions from the bench: What prompted Congress to design the health-care program, which includes the unpopular individual mandate, rather than opt for an alternative?

Verrilli said that Congress saw how it worked "in the state of Massachusetts" and that "it had every reason to think it could could work on a national basis." Any guesses on how soon the attack ads from Santorum and Gingrich will start airing?
