Year-end p-Op quiz: ‘Memory Lane’ edition

We’ve been through a lot this year. Tragedy struck in Tuscon. President Obama’s citizenship was questioned. That latter point was put to rest when he released his long-form birth certificate in April, a couple of days before the world would learn that Obama had signed off on a daring plan to kill Osama Bin Laden. Mission accomplished. There was the debt-ceiling showdown that brought the U.S. to the brink of killing the global financial system. And then there was that other circus: the quest for the Republican nomination for president. There’s so much material there I don’t even know where to begin. So, dive into this special year-end p-Op quiz to relive some of the, er, quizzical moments of 2011 — and hope that 2012 is nearly as interesting.
