There was so much gay stuff happening this week I had to ask several times on Twitter if anything non-gay actually happened. The historic arguments at the Supreme Court on California’s Proposition 8 and the so-called Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) were a true testament to how far the issues of homosexuality and gay people have come in American discourse. Now, all we can do is sit and wait for the Justices to tell us what they think. <tick, tock>

Meanwhile, a ton of Democratic Senators came out in support of marriage equality. While a Republican Senator said she was “evolving” on the issue, no other GOP Senator has had the courage of Sen. Rob Portman to be out, loud and proud about being in favor of same-sex marriage.

A few other things happened this week, but you’re not going to find them on this week’s p-Op quiz. So sharpen your pixels and get crackin’.
