Approval-rating precedent paints grim picture for Obama (Tuesday’s Trail Mix)

Of the last five presidents, the three whose approval rating was at 50 percent or higher during the summer before Election Day went on to win a second term, while the two who were below the halfway mark lost their reelection bids.
