Democratic National Committee hits Mitt Romney as filthy rich

The Democratic National Committee is out with a memo this morning that sets up Tuesday night’s Republican debate, and it’s clear that it sees former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney as its main target, with Herman Cain and Rick Perry getting barely a mention.

To its point, the DNC sent around this photo from Romney’s days at Bain Capital.

From the release: Apparently Mitt Romney doesn’t think that money is important for working Americans – he’s preoccupied with cutting taxes for corporations and the wealthiest Americans at the expense of the middle class. Instead, Mitt Romney has proposed cutting capital gains, interest and dividend taxes for those making $200,000 or less. That would save a family earning $50,000 a mere $54.
