Mitt Romney’s airport prep | #2012Unfiltered

Staff reporter Philip Rucker caught Mitt Romney on Friday morning making last minute preparations at Boston’s Logan Airport for his afternoon speech.

The former Massachusetts governor was bound for Washington, where he is scheduled to speak on fiscal policy at the Americans for Prosperity “Defending the American Dream Summit” at 1 p.m. ET.

Romney’s economic speech follows the October jobs report released Friday morning, but before rival Herman Cain, plagued by sexual harassment allegations, is scheduled to speak at 1:30 p.m. ET on the same stage.

A Washington Post-ABC poll released Friday morning shows Cain and Romney in a dead heat at the top of the 2012 Republican field despite the allegations against Cain that were reported this week.
