Rick Santorum’s sweater vests become a fundraising incentive ahead of New Hampshire primary
Act now and you too can get your very own Rick Santorum sweater vest.

Former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.). (Chris Carlson — Associated Press)The former Pennsylvania senator’s campaign is offering “Rick Santorum For President” sweater vests to supporters who contribute $100 or more before Jan. 11.
“Perfect for demonstrating solidarity with true conservatives, this vest is a great way to show your support for Rick,” the pitch on Santorum’s campaign Web site reads. “It’s 100% cotton, made in the USA, comes in grey, and is yours for your contribution of $100 or more. Don’t let sleeves slow you down — donate today!”
In the weeks since they first began attracting attention on the campaign trail, Santorum’s V-neck vests have inspired a Twitter account, a Tumblr and even a profile in The New York Times.
Santorum supporters hoping to sport their sweater vests at the upcoming South Carolina or Florida primaries should take note, however: The candidate’s site states that demand for the vests has been “extremely high” and that donors should allow four to six weeks for delivery.
