Romney speaks to Business Roundtable, Obama hosts Peres | June 13 schedules

President Obama will host President Shimon Peres of Israel for a series of events at the White House on Wednesday, including a presentation of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Mitt Romney will also be in Washington, where he will speak at the Business Roundtable’s quarterly meeting at the Newseum.

Here’s your look at the campaigns’ schedules for Wednesday, June 13, from the candidates’ press offices and the PBS News Hour Political Calendar.

Wednesday, June 13 (All times ET)

Obama campaign

1:30 p.m.: Vice President Biden chairs a regular meeting of senior officials to assess progress in Iraq.

3:20 p.m.: The president and vice president hold a bilateral meeting with President Shimon Peres of Israel.

4:40 p.m.: The president attends a campaign event.

5 p.m.: The vice president hosts a reception for the Motion Picture Association of America and administration officials at the Naval Observatory.

7:10 p.m.: The president awards Shimon Peres the Presidential Medal of Freedom at a dinner at the White House. The president and Peres deliver toasts; the first lady and vice president also attend.

8:30 p.m.: The president, first lady and vice president attend a reception with President Peres.

11:45 a.m.: Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney addresses the Business Roundtable in Washington.
