Sharon Bialek’s ex-boyfriend to speak at Monday Gloria Allred presser

The ex-boyfriend of Sharon Bialek, the Chicago woman who accused Herman Cain of groping her in a car over a dozen years ago, will come forward today and talk about what Bialek told him in the days following the incident.

Gloria Allred, Bialek’s attorney, sent this message to reporters announcing the press conference, scheduled for this afternoon in Louisiana:

A previously unidentified witness to the relationship between presidential hopeful Herman Cain and Sharon Bialek (who accused Cain of improper sexual advances to her when she asked him for assistance in finding a job) will hold a news conference today, Nov. 14, 2011 at the Holiday Inn at 2:00 p.m. (EST), 102 Lake Street, Conference Room No.1, Shreveport, Louisiana with attorney Gloria Allred.

The witness is a pediatrician. He was the former boyfriend of Bialek. He met Mr. Cain with Bialek and she told him that Cain had engaged in inappropriate touching of her shortly after the alleged incident took place. Cain has said “I don’t even know who this woman is.”

At last Monday’s press conference, Allred waived before the crowd a pair of affadavits signed by two people who her client told about the incident. In follow-up interviews, Allred and Bialek refused to identify those people. But at Monday’s news conference, at least one will step forward, ensuring that the allegations, which Cain has called “baseless,” stay in the conversation at least for another day.

Four women have accused Cain of sexual harassment and two reached settlements with the National Restaurant Association.
