South Carolina debate: Where and when to watch

The five remaining Republican presidential candidates will debate in Myrtle Beach, S.C., tonight, five days before the state’s presidential primary.

The debate is scheduled for 9 to 11 p.m. ET and is hosted by Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and the South Carolina Republican Party. Here are the details:

Where can I watch the debate?

The debate will be broadcast on Fox News and live-streamed on FoxNews.com and WSJ.com

As usual, The Fix will host a live chat throughout the debate starting at 8:30 p.m. and Felicia Sonmez will live-blog all the events starting around 8:30 p.m. in Election 2012.

Who is participating?

Former House speaker Newt Gingrich (Ga.), U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and former U.S. senator Rick Santorum (Pa.).

Who will moderate the debate?

Fox News anchor Bret Baier and Gerald Seib of the Wall Street Journal.

What is the official hashtag?

Fox News says #SCDebate is the official hashtag. Fox is also asking watchers to tweet #dodge or #answer, according to how the candidates answer each question. They will display the volume of tweets with those tags on FoxNews.com.
