Protester interrupts Paul Ryan

August 29, 2012

Protesters briefly interrupted Rep. Paul Ryan's acceptance speech. One held a pink sheet that said, "Vagina – Can’t say it. Don’t legislate it" and shouted loudly from the rafters of the Tampa Bay Times Forum, "Health care, not warfare!" Another shouted, "My body, my choice." Security personnel quickly escorted her out of the convention hall as delegates chanted, "U-S-A! U-S-A!"
