No more chaos in convention hall

On the floor of the convention hall, what has been raucous chaos on other nights of the convention is significantly more quiet tonight, as delegates await tonight's main event. Almost every seat is filled. The Texas delegation, which has worn goofy, collared shirts each previous day, today went for more formal suits. (They kept their cowboy hats, of course.)

It is hot and stuffy and in the clogged aisles between seats, floor managers, wearing trucker hats with "R" for Romney on them, are encouraging reporters, politicians and delegates trying to get around, to keep a move on.

"If you're going to walk, keep walking!" one shouted. "Two single file lines, moving in each direction!" shouted another.
