At the beginning of the week, Mitt Romney was four points behind President Obama in the first installment of the Reuters/Ipsos rolling poll. Now he’s two points ahead.
“I’d say the convention is going very well for him,” said pollster Julia Clark.
Convention bounces are often short-lived, but that doesn’t mean they don’t matter. A bounce — or a lack of a bounce — sometimes leads to a sizable gap that carries through to election day.
