Jim Messina, President Obama's campaign manager, expressed disappointment in his convention address about the "tens of thousands of people" who were not able to attend the president's Thursday night convention address because it was moved to a smaller indoor venue amid weather concerns.
But Messina sought to reverse any negativity by pointing out the the "5,000 watch parties happening all over America." He even highlighted one live in New Mexico.
Earlier on Thursday, Obama held a conference call with ticket-holders who were not able to attend his convention address. “We can’t let a little thunder and lightning get us down,” Obama said
. “We’re going to have to roll with it.”
