Romney and Netanyahu will chat today

September 28, 2012

Mitt Romney will be talking with Benjamin Netanyahu today. President Obama also spoke to the Israeli Prime Minister on the phone:

Romney and Netanyahu have been friends for decades, and the Republican candidate has accused Obama of ignoring the relationship between the U.S. and Israel. He has also criticized Obama for not taking a harder line on Iran. Obama has called it unacceptable for Iran to have a nuclear weapon; Romney has said that it is unacceptable for Iran to develop "nuclear capability." However, in one interview Romney described his position and Obama's as the same. Netanyahu wants the U.S. to draw a "red line" that Iran cannot cross without facing an American attack.
