For weeks, President Obama's campaign has attempted to lower expectations for Wednesday's debate with Mitt Romney. Voters aren't buying it, according to the new Washington Post-ABC News poll.
Registered voters think Obama will win the debate by a 56 percent to 29 percent margin in the survey. Independents say the same, 56 percent to 26 percent. Moderates give Obama the edge by 62 percent to 23 percent. Republicans and conservatives think Romney will win, but not by the huge margins by which Democrats and liberals think Obama will dominate.
Fifty-one percent of registered voters say they are very interested in the debates; 32 percent are somewhat interested.
