A ‘zinger’ from Obama on details

October 3, 2012

Both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have come under fire from Democrats in recent weeks for declining to specify what loopholes they'd plan to close in the tax code.

At Wednesday night's debate, President Obama made that argument himself.

"It wasn't very detailed," Obama said of Ryan's budget blueprint, in one of the few zingers of the night. "This seems to be a trend." A few minutes later, Romney quipped back with a zinger of his own.

"Mr. President, you're entitled to your own airplane and your own house, but you're not entitled to your own facts," Romney said.
