Huckabee takes on Big Bird

October 11, 2012

Before Mitt Romney spoke in Asheville, N.C., on Thursday night, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee (R) warmed up the crowd by delivering a few one-liners.

"I’m going to tell you what Kim Kardashian told Kris Humphries: I won’t keep you long," Huckabee said as he began.

One of Huckabee's lines that earned some of the biggest applause: "We have a president that spent the last week talking about a millionaire Muppet who is getting a federal bailout and somehow he is more interested in a bird keeping his job than he is you keeping yours."
