Romney wishes Ryan good luck

Mitt Romney wished Rep. Paul Ryan good luck in a pre-debate phone conversation from North Carolina, where the presidential candidate is campaigning.

Speaker John Boehner, Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee were all with Romney, and the former Massachusetts governor handed the phone around so they could send Ryan their best wishes.

Meanwhile, Vice President Biden is with his family and friends at the home of a supporter in Danville, Ky. They have fired up the grill for chicken, in addition to spaghetti with marinara sauce and salad for dinner.
