Romney opens with appeal for humor

"We were together at a humorous event earlier," Mitt Romney said in his first response at the foreign policy debate, referring to the Al Smith dinner earlier this week at which he and President Obama cracked jokes about themselves and each other. "It's nice to be funny this time, maybe not on purpose."
