Biden, Michelle Obama cancel events due to storm

Just like Mitt Romney, Vice President Biden has canceled a planned rally in Virginia Beach, Va., on Saturday because of the storm.

"This change in schedule is being taken out of an abundance of caution to ensure that all local law enforcement and emergency management resources can stay focused on ensuring the safety of people who might be impacted by the storm," the Obama campaign said in a statement.

Biden was scheduled to headline an event at Landstown Middle School. His wife,  Jill Biden, and his son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, were also planning to attend.

First Lady Michelle Obama has also canceled a rally at the University of New Hampshire scheduled for Tuesday Oct. 30.
