Obama also buying Minnesota time

President Obama's campaign has bought air time in Minnesota -- $511,000 on broadcast in Minneapolis for 12 days, according to a Republican source. 

The buy follows a small one from Mitt Romney's campaign in the same market -- only $30,000. 

Twin Cities stations air in western Wisconsin, which is where Obama's team says the 60-second spot is being aimed.
