Edward Norton makes Obama campaign video

Actor Edward Norton, along with "Moneyball" director Bennett Miller, has produced a seven-minute video supporting President Obama's campaign.

Norton himself doesn't appear in "We Hold These Truths" at all -- a contrast with other celebrity campaigns. Instead, a racially and economically diverse group of people explain why they support the president.

Obama strategist David Axelrod reached out to Norton, BuzzFeed reports, because the actor had produced a documentary about the president's 2008 campaign.

"I'm not a believer of do this or pay attention to this because of who I am," Norton told BuzzFeed. "Even though I support the President, to me it's much more interesting to encourage people to engage than to suggest that people should model themselves on me and my views."
