Dixville Notch, Hart’s Location cast first election day votes

More on that quirky early voting tradition: the tiny New Hampshire towns of Hart's Location and Dixville Notch cast ballots shortly after midnight Tuesday.

The voting in Dixville Notch was dead even, five votes for President Obama and five for GOP challenger Mitt Romney.

Hart's Location went for the president, who got 23 votes compared to 9 for Romney. Libertarian Gary Johnson got two votes.
