Mitt Romney wins South Carolina, Indiana

In 2008, President Obama squeaked out a win in Indiana, a state with 11 electoral votes. No such luck this time -- Mitt Romney easily won the state.

Mitt Romney also will win South Carolina's nine electoral votes and West Virginia's five electoral votes, the Associated Press reports.

In Indiana, Republican Richard Mourdock is not faring as well in his Senate race against Rep. Joe Donnelly (D); the two candidates are neck and neck.
