AP: Maine legalizes gay marriage

According to AP, Maine voters legalized gay marriage in the state on Tuesday.

The decision overturned a 2009 ballot measure that banned same-sex marriage, which itself overturned a law approved by Maine's legislature that allowed same-sex marriage.

Maryland also legalized gay marriage by referendum Tuesday.
