It was a big night for women in office.

Elizabeth Warren (D) beat Sen. Scott Brown (R) in Massachusetts (Gretchen Ertl -- Reuters)

Particularly openly gay women in office.

U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) became the first openly gay U.S. senator. (Andy Manis -- AP)

But not so much for men who made rape, pregnancy and abortion campaign talking points:

Hispanic voters came out to vote (mostly for President Obama):

So did House Speaker John Boehner (helping the Republican Party keep the House):

Supporters of same-sex marriage celebrated, especially in Maryland, Maine and Minnesota:

As did marijuana fans (in Colorado and Washington state, at least):

There was a spontaneous party in front of the White House:
