Allen West: Election not stressful like combat

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), who appears to have lost his reelection bid to Democrat Patrick Murphy, told Fox News Radio Thursday that he's not worried.

"I've been in combat, so this is not a stressful situation for me," said West, a former Army colonel. The outspoken congressman has filed a motion asking a judge to impound ballots and voting machines for a possible recount.

"I'm not entitled to anything," he said, but it was his job to protect the freedom to vote. "We want to make sure we have a fair electoral process."

A result with a .5 percent difference or less would automatically trigger a recount, but the results are outside that margin.
