President Obama is headed to New York on Thursday, Nov. 15 to visit areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy.

Two weeks after the storm, city residents are struggling with the damage and debris left behind.

The president offered to visit the city in late October. At the time, Mayor Michael Bloomberg turned him down, saying "we have lots of things to do.” Obama toured storm damaged areas in New Jersey with Gov. Chris Christie (R).
