Hopes for talking with Mitt Romney this year

President Obama said Wednesday that he has not set a date for meeting with recently defeated GOP nominee Mitt Romney, but he hopes to chat with him before year's end.

"My hope is before the end of the year we have a chance to sit down and down and talk," Obama said at an afternoon press conference. "What I want to do is get ideas from him and see if there are ways we can work together."
