New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg will join President Obama and two of his cabinet members for an aerial tour of areas of New York damaged by superstorm Sandy, White House spokesman Jay Carney said Wednesday.

Cuomo plans to request $30 billion in federal aid to rebuild devastated parts of his state. According to the pool report, Carney said the White House did not yet have enough specifics on the details of the request to respond.
