Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and his 10-year-old daughter Liza went hunting over Thanksgiving weekend and each took down a buck, the Washington Examiner reports

Ryan has taken Liza hunting before, but this year she was able to shoot from her own stand. (Her weapon: a Remington 700 .243 caliber.)

"My daughter she's been hunting with me for years, watching me, but she's old enough this year to hunt on her own," Ryan told reporters in September when he took a break from campaigning to buy Liza some gear. "She's really looking forward to it."
