Young vote helped Obama win four key states

Young voters supported President Obama less in 2012 than they did in 2008 -- but they made up a larger share of the electorate and thus may have mattered more to his victory, the Pew Research Center reports.

In Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, the youth vote helped Obama get over 50 percent.
