Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) was shown on Tuesday morning's New York Post taking a picture of Jay-Z and Beyonce at the start of Monday's inaugural festivities. (The paper suggested that President Obama was outshined at his own inauguration by the couple.) King explains on Twitter:

“She’s been after me for years,” King, who represents central Long Island, jokingly told the paper. “I didn’t know the guy beside her, Jay-Z.”
In addition to being a famous rapper, Jay-Z is a prominent investor in the Brooklyn Nets.
In a follow-up interview with New York Magazine, King said he had heard of Jay-Z but could not connect the name with a face.
"I don't know rap," he said. "I stopped listening to music after Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers."
