McCaskill: Defense audit will take years

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) gives us a great, jaw-dropping detail at the confirmation hearing for defense secretary nominee Chuck Hagel: It's going to take until at least 2017 for the Defense Department to fully audit its byzantine accounting books.

Hagel, as other defense secretary nominees before him, pledged to address the matter.
